About the event

Knowledge Exchange Seminar Series

Attention-Deficit / Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), with a prevalence rate of approximately 6% in Chinese and other communities, is the second largest special needs population in Hong Kong schools.  Professor Kathy Shum and her team launched the Jockey Club Keen and Active Kids Project (JCKAK) to provide school-based intervention services to over 3,500 students with ADHD and offer support to teaching staff in more than 300 primary and secondary schools in Hong Kong.  This seminar will highlight the diverse needs of students with ADHD, the intervention strategies within the training paradigm, and the insights gained from the project to foster a supportive environment for students with ADHD in school settings.
